Yes, one at a park's pokestop around common spawns and the other in a rural area where Snorlax spawns (very rarely)

No. Wrong biome here. Not gonna happen. In fact other than plentiful Ursarings there isn't anything in the Gen 2 for me to actively hunt that effects my gym defense or offense in any way really. I wosh they would let the super strong mons at least have rare random out of biome spawns.

Not near me but I finally hatched one. I only got 16 candies and the IV is second tier, but at least I can walk with him now.

Before gen 2 was released there was huge amount of rare spawns at my location.
Laprases, Snorlaxes, Chanseys and Dragonites.
Level 33 here and playing 24/7 and never seen so many.

Now gen 2 has been out and havent seen any rares.
Only got Dratini from egg.

So i bet Niantic have decreased spawn chances for rares and when gen 3 is close by they increase chances so everyone can at least fill their pokedex.

Just call me crazy.

No spawns...2 hatches.

EDIT Try the coast/beach...there is nothing that doesn't spawn at coastal areas, just things that spawn less often.
Unlike EVERY other biome, that has mons that will NEVER spawn.

I mean...you get 'grass and rock mon on the end of piers, and on sandy beaches - but every other biome has a list that refuse to spawn.

Yes. Except for Tyranitar, a few Larvitars spawn every day, and also Pupitar somedays. For example, between my friend and I, we caught 5 Larvitar and 1 Pupitar just today.

I live in a small town surrounded by mountains (Valencian Community, Spain). I would say it's a mountain/dessert biome. Sandshrew, Geodude, Rhyhorn and a lot of Cyndaquil. For us it's harder to see any water/plant-type pokemon than a Larvitar. It's such a relief, because we never saw a Datini here, so at least we can catch Larvitar.

Thank you for your answer. I'm also surrounded by Mountains (Santiago) and have the same biome. Didn't manage to find a wild larvitar yet unfortanetely.

Sorry for my late reply. Yes Santiago in Chile. Entirely surrounded by Mountains. Should be the perfect location.

I'm in north San Diego coastal. I've seen two larvitars, and one pupitar since they came out. Of those, I managed to catch one Pinap powered larvitar, but the other and the pupitar both fled on me. Frick.

None near me. Caught my first one when I visited downtown Philly though off a lure. Hatched my second one with 96% IVs so I've been walking one ever since.

I live in a desert biome around Riverside county and I've caught a couple Larvitar near my house. Haven't seen Pupitar or Tyranitar though.
