have probems making an IV calculator

well I'm trying to do my own IV calculator but the problem I have is that when using the cp formula it doesn't give interger numbers, and then if I use the formula for the attack IV and I write the cp value that is given on the game I wont get an interger attack IV.

which is the secret behind that?
