Have Lapras deficient area been overcompensated?

I have seen 1 Lapras and it ran.
I have been back to the same spot but with no luck.

Lucky with 2 hatches though, so I have collected some Lapras candy.

well spoofers atleast got 500 or more candies already from this event

I've caught two wild lapras before this event, and have only seen one during the event. Unfortunately, I saw it at a time when I couldn't go get it.

I was blessed with this little guy although the CP shit but the IV is 88.99% lol thanks ninantic

I got one so far, have seen 3 on sightings that I wasn't able to track down or was a passenger. This is in an area that has pretty much zero water spawns. I think it's definitely a fair balance out here haha.

I have a friend who caught 3 laprases in ten minutes in the desert. We went go-hunting in a river biome today and saw none.... Lol

I had never seen one, that and Hitmonchan were the last I needed to fill out my gen 1... now I have sent one to the prof....

hadn't seen one in 7 months until the day before the event when i hatched one (11/10/10 wg/hp almost the worst thing that can come out of an egg) caught 3 wild during (all also bad) the event and would have been antisocial to go after a 4th i saw (would have if i didn't already have the others)
On the flip side drowning in woopers and psiducks and only getting about 30 magikarp a day with a lot of effort.

Definitely not. Never hatched or saw a wild lapras.

However, got 2 shinykarp - one last night (CP 124) and one today (CP 20), so can't complain. Also got two 10 k eggs in two days, very unusual. Could one hatch a lapras? Should find out tomorrow.

No Lapras before, no Lapras during event.
This makes, with a div-by-zero-avoiding-limit-calculation, a raise of ca. 317,24184% due to rounding issues more Laprases per time unit for me.
