Hatching vs. Raids vs. Wild

Where are the best Pokémon to be found?

I feel it goes this way

1. Hatch
2. Raid
3. Wild

Not to say this is absolute, but I find my hatched mon are consistently better quality over wild.

I got a 100% Magikarp in a raid, but feel few of the available raids will net a valuable mon in the meta.

Hence my ranking. Thoughts?

Hatches and raids have mon with minimum of 10 iv in all stats. Wild can go to 0 in all stats unless they get the benefit of weather (then minimum of 5).

Raids > Wild catches > Hatches

The absolute best mons come from raiding but require significant investment.

I use a tracker and can get 96-100 Iv mons level 33-35 so wild pokemon are pretty awesome now.

Hatches are a crapshoot and are only level 20 and mostly garbage.

Wild weather boosted > raids> hatching

Hmm, I haven’t seen anything good in my weather wild catches. Nearly all of my 100 CP’s came from hatchings.

Clearly I need to raid more often. However, what’s the point when most of the available raids aren’t great to have or hard to get a group together? There aren’t many groups raiding the good stuff locally outside the Legendaries, and they’re mostly irrelevant.

I find that weather boosted wild catches are the best value. I have a few with excellent IV's but most are in the "OK" range 60-89%, but when it's Level 30+ already it doesn't matter. Particularly for the low candy cost mons such as Eevee, Exeggcute, Rhyhorn, etc. (I suppose I've been weather fortunate with Clear or Partly cloudy most of the time)

In the past two week I've evolved five 2300+ CP Jolteon, four 2600+ CP Vaporeons (including two 2800+), a 2400+CP and 2600+CP Flareons, and three 2400+CP Exeggutors at the cost of exactly ZERO stardust. Which means I can run 6 deep with Water, fire, electric or grass with some high powered mons.

I've evolved three 2900+ CP rhydons, but two have RS/SE.

At this point I almost reflexively delete all hatches unless they are either 100% or something rare like aerodactyl or lapras.

Most raid mons are gym fodder unless it's a legendary, primarily doing them for the candy opposed to the actual mon. I'd take a 73% Lv 34 abra over a 91% Lv 20 Alakazam any day.

If you are L30+, the best Mon come from the wild, due to the higher level cap. Raids aren't bad because they come fully evolved. I am finding it rare to hatch something worth the investment.
