Hatch 5x 10km eggs now or wait?

So...ive been saving my 10km eggs for awhile.

(i tend to be unlucky with 10k drops, feels like i can go months without a drop, then i get 2 within afew days)

I have saved 4 single use incubators, plus my infinite one obviously, so i right now i could do 5x 10km at once.

Well ive had 4 10k eggs for ages, and just now ive finally got my 5th.

Definitely tempting to incubate them all now. But im strongly considering to sit on them and keep waiting....

But, what are your opinions?

Hatch now or wait?

Wait for a possible event of something...double candy,
but who knows if and when that may come.

I would buy more incubators with gym coins and line up four 5k eggs to go with my 10ks and hatch them all during a lucky egg. Outside of waiting for double candy i see no point in waiting.

Not a bad idea...maximum xp gain.
I got the coins to buy afew incubators.

So would you say hatch now then? instead of waiting for a 'potential' event

I personally would wait at least a week in case a Valentine's event comes down and you get 2xdust, 2x candy or 2xexperience.

If there is no event I would hatch them next weekend.

I will give it till valentines.

If there's no valentines event i will just hatch em with lucky egg and hope for some good results, otherwise who knows how long it may be after that, we could be waiting for months.

Definitely wait maybe 2-5 days to see if anything for Valentines day...If not, then go ahead...

I personally plan to aim for 9 since Easter is clearly an "egg" type celebration.

It'll probably take 2+ months to get a few more (have 5 now).

if you saved them from the winter event...they'll likely be babies and you will definitely be disappointed. . .

I would say i got them over the Christmas...new year, and starter event. Pretty much since then.

It was after the free single use incubator thing that sparked my idea to start holding them and hatch multiple 10ks at once.

Ive definitely obtained a bunch (if not all) of the eggs since then

the eggs are coded to the specific pokemon when you obtain them from the pokestops, so any eggs obtained before the Christmas / Gen2 baby event did not hatch the new pokemon.

Do you heavily need a good defender right now? In this case you should hatch them in hope for a good Snorlax or Lapras to come out of the egg.

I've also got 5 right now, and I'm wondering the same thing. Part of me wants to stock up all 9 so I can do a mass hatch, but I am level 39 so XP is kinda moot at this point.

EDIT: I just picked up a sixth 10k Egg, so I think I'm going to wait for the full monty and hatch all 9 at once. For the lulz mostly

Yeah, I think for my "fun", I actually like to watch the egg hatching rather than save time during my lucky egg sessions when I do hatch 10km eggs at the same time. It's not optimal of course to waste a few minutes watching them all hatch, but I enjoy it for sure...

My last 7 10k's had 1 Lapras and 2 Elekids (new for me)...Good thing ALL my 10km eggs now were after the event so hoping they aren't all babies (even though Smoochum and Magby would still be new for me so they'd be ok actually)...

I suppose with where things are at the game, 10km eggs for players like me (free play) are rare to begin with and getting something new possibly or the top tier ones like Snorlax/Dratini keeps me playing.

Have only hatched 17 10ks total so far.
