Has some research done about evolution correlation between the same Pokémon?
Sorry if my title is not clear: my question is let's say you have a Chansey with pound and dazzling gleam, are you bound to evolve it into Blissey not with these two moveset? I have evolved other Pokémon before and I do believe I can never get the same moveset between he original Pokémon and its evolved form.

I agree its completely random, but I havent seen any data that controlled for it.
The only data that I saw showed that the Moves were all 1/6 chance. but didn't control for the unevolved form.
Because if unevolved are all random moves but have influence on final chances. It will still all be 1/6
Basic example:
Let's say you have a 1/6 chance of Vince Whip + Powerwhip on Bulb. But that combo has a 1/3 chance of becoming Vine Whip Solarbeam. Yet the Tackle/Sludge Bomb one can't become that combo ever. You would still end up with 1/6 evolution for Vinewhip Solar.
That's probably way too complicated to have modified ratios based on original moves. But it's therotically possible.
I haven't seen any studies control for base moves, though I might have missed it.
