Hardest Raid of all time

What do you think is the hardest raid of all time? I think it's Aggron because he is EXREMLY though.

Statistically, the hardest raid is an Aggron duo. 2% win rate before friendship.

Well, one could argue that a Regirock solo is harder, with a 0% success rate. But that's the ridiculous extreme.

Hardest achievable.

(I did try a Regirock solo to get the first Celebi chunk done, managed somewhere north of 25%, but not much)

Aggron Duo has got to be the toughest. Other than that, I would say Alolan Marowak Duo, EX Mewtwo Duo, Kyogre or Groudon Trio.

Flareon solo, when raids were first introduced. That was before Kyogre, waterfall Gyarados, or smackdown Tyranitar existed, and before friendship bonus and weather boost existed. The only potentially viable counters were RT/HP or RT/RS Omastar, and RT/SE Golem, and even with those, it took a lot of luck to win.

I think Jolteon was even more difficult. If I remember correctly, before Groudon you would have needed 6 maxed Mewtwos, when EX raids were still hard to get.

Yes, a few people did Flareon with 6 maxed out perfect Golems. No one ever soloed Jolteon before Groudon came out.

I’d argue Ninetales before Waterfall Gyarados, I think he was even harder and was done by only 1-2 different people. Aggron is probably the hardest since it’s statiscally impossible basically but Ninetales pretty much was also. Those are my top two

Ninetales and flareon are about on par, flareon has the higher attack but all flareon moves are fire type whereas ninetales has marginally higher defense and has solar beam which is pretty much impossible to solo with golems

Soloing Shuckle. The only level 3 raid that is impossible to solo under any circumstances

I wonder if it that had been a potential use of an attack type Deoxys, if it had been of another typing with an optimal moveset.
Shuckle are probably the only raid it could possible be viable in.
Anyone know if it had been theoretical possible?

OG Lugia and it is not even close.

Some hard solo raid ( i prefer using T3 solo as reference, cos it is all on myself whether i win or loose) become easy over time. Some impossible become doable like jolteon. Shuckle is still impossible so it is not in a category of hard
If i have to choose, the hardest one for me is Alakazam back in mid 2017, failed a lot before i finally nailed it.Need around 1 month.
Some T3 raids still in a category of hard or even impossible without using legendaries, or unique challenge without legendaries and weather boosted advantage.

Personally I agree on this one. I had no chance on Flareon, got it down to a fraction of the red bar, but still probably 10-15s left.

Alakazam solo 2017 is my all time favorite raid. Had probably 40 tries before I nailed it.
My phone struggled a lot with the "tap-tap-tap-hold" and occasional necessary dodging, costing precious seconds.

No raid after that comes close in tactical challenge. You had to have different teams depending on moveset, sometimes you had to dodge. Really fun, and a real sense of accomplishment finally getting it.

The "charge button" and strong maxed out teams later in summer and early autumn made the challenge smaller and gradually disappear.

Definetely agree on this one. Alakazam was the only Pokemon that required a real strategy in dodging and releasing charge attacks in order to win. One of the very few satisfying challanges back in the days. With the introduction of Mewtwo, even this challange has dissappeared.

Couldnt aggre more, the most satisfying and make me set up and reset up my counter a lot of time so far

Same fate on flareon with me. I know some trainer can solo it, but for me it is a forget it raid at that time, geodude is rare in my city at that time. I never heard any trainer in my country that i know of actually can nailed flareon back in the day.
So Alakazam is the most satisfying for me.
When all Zam, Flareon, Jolteon return, some trainer showing off that they win it, i jokingly said "what ? You showing off against a weakened, old, and tired raid bosses ?" Lol

I would argue solo Ninetales before WF Gyarados was a thing, let alone Kyogre.

1st time Flareon solo (the time Golem was best)
I might be wrong but just one guy beat him and he stated he had 36 tries

and nowadays even casuals could do it...times have changed :-(
