What is your guess when this event will start?

12:01 AM on October 26th?

Will that be by time zone, or a universal start set by where Niantic is located?

Not sure, but it was already 12:00 AM in Japan and those places. I don't know if the event started there.

It's a pretty important detail to leave out. Have a 10 egg at 9.7, along with a lot of other people I'm sure.

Doesn't work yet, but drowzees and hypnos are all around for the whole day

What's good my dude!? I have two right now that I'm sitting on. I'm just glad to be getting anything extra with all these incubators. Snorlax or Lapras would just be icing on the cake. Fingers crossed!

My guess would be 00:00 GMT.
Or 8pm eastern as another said

9pm here in Argentina

I will be transferring a pidgey to see if I get 2 candies and that would be proof

Got up this morning and found myself surrounded by all the dark force: Gastly, Haunter, Gengar, Cubone, Hippno, Meowth... . No more Pidgeys or Weedle :D
