Gym view crashes game

This is my first question on this board, so sorry if it has already been asked (and please go easy). There is a gym near my house, I can can select it anytime since it is in my area. The only problem...when I select the gym, the app crashes....everytime! My wife mentioned the same thing on her account, so I'm not the only one. The gym is level 7, has been so for the past week or so. Coincidentally this has been an issue for about a week too.

Has anyone experienced this issue? I will report this to Niantic, but has anyone experienced this? I am curious.
