Gym shaving

Its wrong. I've been shaved out of gyms plenny. Sometimes the gym gets knocked down shortly there after. No big deal. On a few rare occasions the gym stayed standing for a whole week afterwards. That's not fair. Big gold badge progress robbed.

It is wrong for a few reasons. First, it is a clear violation of the rules to have multiple accounts. Second, many want to make progress on gym badges. Third, many want the ability to remotely feed berries, especially with the star piece now.

I’ll also add that most shavers don’t wait 8 hours.

Of course it's acceptable! Why hold any gym more than enough time to get coins from it! Don't worry we all know you live in a high turnover area... blah blah blah... you were just itching to post again I see.

Gym shaving seems to be much less of a problem since they went to 'the new gym scene'...looks like few care enough to shave anymore because gym battling is just too easy now.
Not much of a challenge to take over or get into as many gyms as you want now. I think it (the gym scene) needs to go back to something between the way it was and the way it is now.
(And no, I don't think gym shaving is acceptable).

Don't get me wrong...I have been asked to 'kick' people from a gym - by the account owner who wants coins, but that is their decision ( or the oppositions if they take the gym )

I would also like to add the possibility of someone just doing a gym battle day and find multiple gyms to slot pokemon in so they don't have to worry about gyms for 3 days or more (hope that others kick out one a day)

If a gym belongs to your team and all six slots are taken, the only way to get into the gym is to shave the first defender.

I actually miss prestiging Blissey towers.

The problem is Niantic-created. Legit solo players are locked out.
