Gym Limitation
What are your thoughts on certain gym limitations?
For example, having only one slot per gym for each Pokémon? Just thinking about a few discussions in other threads and personal experiences, it would be nice to see other mons outside the high CP ones in gyms. It would push players to be more "creative" and use their resources in more diverse ways.
Full Disclosure: I really just want to put my garbage fully powered Hitmonchan into a gym for more than five minutes. ?

Hell yes. It would encourage powering up ALL different mons. For example, maybe power up my pinsir or jynx just for the fact no one else would have invested in them and would guarantee I could put it in a gym.
Side note: the first mons my girlfriend fully invested in were lickitung and jynx. She uses them everytime.
Definitely. It'd be a much needed change of scenery so to speak.
You're gf is the type of player I'm sure Niantic regrets losing (not sure if she stopped). My gf was the same way but stopped at level 23 over a month ago. She invested in Raichu and Rapidash early on and was enjoying it until the entire scene out in So Cal became the top three only.
Yep she stopped at 21, she used to stop at the gym everyday on the way to the store. Then it was all 2000 Vapes and Exeggutors everyday. She's not a gamer, doesn't know type/weakness/stab. Couldn't beat or train even very low level gyms with her "fun" team. She got really frustrated and stopped all together.
Maybe it would be interesting to put an obligation like : there cannot be two identical pokemon in the same gym
or : this gym has to (or can't) contain this or this type of pokemon
more generally, i mean if we keep letting 100% freedom in the choice of the pokemon that we can drop in a gym, we will see the same over and over.
so maybe things will change if we have some "constraints"
but we are still limited by the CP though (like Alakazam 1800 max cp seriously ...)
