Is the gym freezing your app glitch fixed?

Remember those times where when you went into a gym and exited you wouldn’t be able to tap your screen and PoGo became completely unresponsive and required the app to be restarted? Yeah that glitch.
Just wondering if anybody has seen this since the update a couple days ago. I haven’t noticed it yet, but perhaps I’ve just been lucky.
