Gym Disappeared

Posts like this are also on reddit. Trainers Pokémon also disappeared with the gyms too...

Seems like Niantic is responding to pokes top removal requests and yours was on their list.

Some duplicate portals (stops) have been removed over the last 4 months in ingress. Some gyms swapped places because the portal where they seated was removed. I think it's only for inappropriate location or removing duplications in high density areas

Yep some gyms have been removed/changed here in our city.

Schools and Churches that complained have had their gyms removed. Sometimes they get moved to a park nearby that was a stop instead.

But Niantic is removing some problem gyms where people have complained about trespassing and increased traffic/activity.
