Gym badges question

You get more items from spinnin that gym's disk.

You will get 1 extra item per gym badge tier as you spin the gym stop (1 extra for bronze, 1 extra for silver, 1 extra for gold), that way you can get 3 extra items per spin.

Very useful to refill your bag if you live on a not very populated area or during events. But other than that at this point there is not more use to them. I am really hoping for something like an small increase on capture rate for raid bosses on that gym, extra premiere balls, extra rare candies/berries, a dust bonus, etc...Make them more valuable, no need them to be game breaking, just a bonus, as they are not easy to get, this will encourage people to actually fight gyms other than getting their daily 50 coins.

If you spin the disc of a gold badge gym as your first stop of the day for your 7 day streak bonus you will get 28+ items... I've gotten as many as 31 or 32!

My first gold badge is close to my office. Beside of getting more items, you maybe (I guess) get a higher chance to get a candy when feeding the Pokemon. Yesterday and today I got 2 candy when feeding Lapras and Tyranitar. I will try more to confirm that!
Edit: Fed my own Tyranitar in another gold gym and got a candy after 30+ feeding (32 fed).
