Gym AR bug?

Does anyone else get a weird glitch/bug where the AR stays on when you're battling gyms? I have my camera turned off 24/7 and my app is fully updated but for some reason the game forces me to battle gyms with the AR on and I can't figure out how to turn it off. It's quite annoying actually.

This happened to me yesterday. It seems to be a gym bug. I am also getting a gym error.

From what I remember, you can toggle the AR on and off from the screen where you choose your Pokemon for the gym.

That's not a bug, its an option. When you choose yout team, there's a button where you turn on and torn off the AR.
