Gyarados tm or don’t tm
I have a gyarados sitting at level 32 and 89% iv with DT/OR.
Now my question is if dnite ever becomes a raid boss, would It be worth it to not tm it so I have one viable gyarados for that situation or would I just be better off useing 6 ice type mons?
I have acouple other garys that have b/hp and b/c already only the b/hp one is level 32 also. Just trying to figure out if I would be better off tming it now so I have another mewtwo counter. Seeing as we don’t know when or if niantic will make dnite a raid boss anytime soon or in the future.

TM it if you're actually gonna use it. If Dragonite becomes a raid boss, ice Pokemon are much better than a dragon move Gyarados, having STAB and an extra super effective multiplier is 1.68x more damage.
So you probably won't use a Gyarados with these moves, but if you also have no use for a Gyarados with other movesets (maybe you have better counters), then you'd just be wasting your TMs.
With exception - if you're facing a steel wing dragonite, then gyarados not only resists it, but it can possibly go super effective into the ice mon if it is not cloyster or lapras. Ice types still probably have the edge but not a lot.
Might be better to use a dragonite to fight a mirror match vs steel wing dragonite, but if it has outrage... You might wish you had used a gyarados instead because of the dodge glitch.
Against dragon tail, no brainer, use ice types.
