Gyarados Pokemon Type

What is the correct Gyarados pokemom type?
All they say and write Water/Flying type but, considering its apearance and its moves, it should be Water/Dragon type.

Don't question the logic of the Pokemon games... He is Water/Flying and that's it.

it looks like Chinese dragon which does fly, and the myth that carp evolves into dragon is Chinese tale too.
