Gyarados, Master league?

Hey guys, hope you're all doing well. I was wondering if its worth giving my maxed out 3292 gyarados a second move?
Would you recommend bite or outrage? Also is a gyarados usable in the master league or not at all. Even if it's not master league material I can use it in raids and gyms for coverage. Reckon its worth it?
I was also wondering what starters are worth giving a second move?
Thank you for your help.

Very much so, Gyarados, especially with Bite as a fast move is very strong.

I think you mean crunch of outrage. Personally I dont know which one to take over the other as both have their positives and negatives, outrage hits dragons hard, but takes a while to charge, and crunch hits mewtwo, metagross, lugia hard and is spamable, but does nothing to tyranitar

Ive had outrage on mine, and its been pretty great to me vs dragonite/rayquaza, but I haven't done too many battles to know if those were just lower level dragons

Did it to mine when I heard how good it was, zero regrets, and its doing great. Even if a move doesnt see much PvP use, a gyarados can still make good use of its move in gyms and pokedraft raids, and its not like its a terribly expensive cost, 25 carp candy and 10k dust.

I think Gyarados will be good in the Ultra League, and even the Great league, but might not have the CP to compete in the Master League. What it gives up in CP it might make up by having Crunch and Outrage as off type moves, but Kyogre with Blizzard or Thunder could also be very effective, and will likely be packing another 1000 CP, which will usually win the day.

In terms of starters, all of them are, especially if they have a CD move. Meganium is a beast in the Great league, with Frenzy Plant and Earthquake, Blastoise with Hydro Cannon and Ice Beam is deadly and tanky, BB Charizard can pick up Dragon Claw, and when they come out, Blaziken with Blast Burn and Focus Blast will be a beast, Swampert with Hydro Cannon and Earthquake will be super scary, and then Tortura with STAB Earthquake and FP, Infernape with BB and either Solar Beam or Close Combat, and Empoleon with Hydro Cannon and either Flash Cannon (pretty good in PvP, much better than in raids) or Blizzard. The low low price of only 10k dust and 25 candy makes buying a second move a no-brainer. I'm strongly considering choosing base forms that will evolve to just under 1500 or 2500 and buying them a second move now, so that if they raise the price I'm already locked in with the second move, and can still evolve them and get the CD move when the CD happens. Not quite there yet, want to see how IVs shake out, and use that info too, but it's on my list of things to do sooner rather than later.

Thanks for the info. Do you get a random move once you add a second move or do you get to chose which one you like?
