Gyarados with DT/OR as prestiger

I just wonder the idea of using gyarados DT/OR as prestiger. Please share your exp, what cp, what matchup that it is useful. Thanks.

No, it is not imo. A good prestiger should have a good relation between real fighting power (however defined) and CP. This includes STAB-moves.

Gyarados is strong because of its elite stats, and they reflect in elite CP, what is bad for a prestiger.

Power it up and stick it in a gym as a dragon deterrent
