Gyarados DT+C

Hello, I just evolved my Gyarados with Dragon tail + crunch, should i power him up? Or should I save stardust for better pokemons with better movesets ? Thanks for the answer and sorry for my english.

That depends heavily on its IV. That's not a bad defensive moveset, so if it's 80% or better and you don't have a better candidate then I'd power it up.

IV is 93%, who is better candidate? And against which pokemons should i use him ? thank you for you answer!!

Definitely power it up then. On offense it doesn't have one particular match up that is great, but does well against most things because of its high CP. DT makes it good against dragonite, and crunch is good vs. psychic (espeon, executor).

Basically anything w/ Dragon Tail is good defensively. I'd rank the defense charge moves: (1) Outrage, (1a) Hydro Pump, (3) Crunch.

All are "good,"but I would definitely prefer Outrage / Pump.

My first and only one gyarados got the same moveset. I feel a little bit sad because crunch but dragon tail make a great job vs dragonites and as they said, really good quick move defending (dragon tail).

Lol you should be happy, my 1st karp was 98% and i got the extinct and awful bite/twister.
