Guides without legendaries

While it's "super useful" to know that I should be using Raikou for things weak to lightning, or Moltres when I need fire, or Mewtwo for psychic, on the other hand it's sort of duh: use your OP legendaries, gotcha. Can we please make an effort to extend guides which suggest Pokemon for counters to also include 1-2 non-legendary pokemon, where the choice is not always as painfully obvious, for those of us who don't have thriving raid groups to allow us to easily collect the tier 5 raid pokemon?

Which Pokemon's raid guide on this site just has legendaries and not all of the other good counters?

Simply ignore the legendaries if you don't have them. If a Pokemon isn't on the list then it's probably not a feasible counter if the guide has been updated recently.

Being able to do a raid in theory and being feasible are different things though. For example Xatus have been proven to be able to solo Machamp raids but that doesn't make them practical when they need to be powered up further just to be on par with better counters and are useless in more or less every other scenario.

Most of the replacements for legendaries are pretty straightforward. Jolteon instead of Raikou, Flareon instead of Moltres, Alakazam/Espeon instead of Mewtwo etc. Usually the best non-legendary options are included in raid guides too. Only the most hardcore players have full teams of legendaries for everything.
