The Grass attacker situation

In its current state:

1. Bullet Seed/Leaf Blade Sceptile (L35)
2. Vine Whip/Solar Beam Venusaur (L35)
3. Razor Leaf/Solar Beam Victreebel (L35)
4. Razor Leaf/Solar Beam Vileplume (L35)
5. Vine Whip/Frenzy Plant Venusaur (L30)
6. Solar Beam Groudon (L40)
7. Confusion/Solar Exeggutor (L40)
8. Confusion/Solar Exeggutor (L30)

The lack of grass fast moves makes the purposes of Groudon and Exeggutors more limited in attack role, although Groudon attacks generally well with Ground type. Sceptile has the highest attack stat of the grass types here with double grass moveset. The Frenzy Plant Venusaur has the highest potential. The Exeggutors are the best defenders.

Sims against Golem raid boss give the following DPS ranking:
Solar Beam Groudon (L40) (inflated because fast move also SE)
Bullet Seed/Leaf Blade Sceptile (L35)
Vine Whip/Frenzy Plant Venusaur (L30)
Razor Leaf/Solar Beam Vileplume (L35)
Confusion/Solar Exeggutor (L40)
Vine Whip/Solar Beam Venusaur (L35)

Sceptile, FP Venusaur and Groudon are probably your most solid picks. Frenzy Plant in particular is so good that L30 FP Venusaur is better than L35 SoB Venusaur in pretty much every matchup. C/SoB Exeggutor at 30 is quite bad and so is SoB Victreebel, it really needs to have Leaf Blade.
