Hey all! I just did my second big lucky egg evolve at trainer level 21. I had some pokemon with awesome IVs that sadly turned out some less-than-optimal movesets. I’m sitting on about 122k stardust, and I’m wondering which (if any) of these pokemon deserve it.
Vaporeon (1230): Water Gun, Aqua Tail
Clefable (1331): Pound, Dazzling Gleam
Exeggutor (1218): Zen Heabutt, Seed Bomb
Golduck (1314): Confusion, Ice Beam
Hypno (1225): Confusion, Shadow Ball

I’m willing to wait for better pokemon if I have to, but I’ve been grinding it out for a REALLY long time and I was definitely looking forward to getting some studs.

If you really want to know, none of them.

I would only throw dust into something with optimal movesets. Obviously the choice is yours though.

If I had to choose it would be exeggutor as he is the best of the bunch when it comes to moves.

Sigh... I thought that might be the case. No sense throwing away all that work on duds. I wasn't able to evolve everything so I should have a few more options soon. Hopefully those pan out. Thanks for your input!

Save all stardust. You will need it when the legendary Pokemon are released. You dont NEED the strongest Pokemon in town. It would be nice, but its not feasible. You will DEFINETLY catch higher Pokemon and evolve them into even stonger things. Your Pokemon right now are weak, but your only level 21 so you have time to get stronger.
I'm level 29 1/2 right now and sitting on 450,000+ stardust. I only level up ONE Vaporeon and that's it. It's at 2387 right now. My other top Pokemon are Exeggutor 2155, Vaporeon 2040, Exeggutor 2029, Gyarados 1967, etc.
My point is, save your Stardust. It will be much more valuable later on.

Good to know. So I should just keep catching and leveling, invest in one beastly Pokemon with the right moveset/IV, but otherwise hoard that stardust like crazy... do I have that right?

That's my advice, yea. Its nice to have ONE strong Pokemon, but wait until you are level 30 before you think about leveling up anything else. By 30 you will have plenty of strong Pokemon you didn't think you would even get. And the stockpile of Stardust will be super valuable.
