Or maybe just hang on to the thing and see what the future brings, it is a 100% after all.

I'm hanging on to both my 100% Electabuzzes and my 100% Milltank.

If that miltank is ZH/BS AND 100%, then it's actually reasonably good on defense.

Worth powering up if the gym metagame gives you incentive to hold gyms

What did you expect. From a qualiva raid ? To catch a dragonite , a perfect. Qualiva is the best outcome from a qualiva raid

That is irrelevant you may or may not get it qualiva or not , still a perfect raid boss is great catch , and if you really hate him you shouldn't entered the raid then unless he is known for more TMs or candy which isn't a thing

I mean, I fundamentally disagree with your assertion that a perfect quilava is the best outcome from a quilava raid, whether or not you think I should have entered the raid in the first place.

A perfect Quilava is the best outcome from a Quilava raid is what he said. I would be inclined to agree but it comes down to whether you're a collector or a "competitive" player.
