I got the metal coat, and I have a perfect Scyther, but he's currently stuck in a gym, so I'm going to evolve a Steelix. I'm sure I'll get another metal coat.

BTW, I prestiged against a Scizor with a Magmar (~1450 Magmar against a 2300 Scizor), and the Magmar crushed the Scizor. Of all the prestiging I've done since the move updates, that was the easiest one for gaining significant prestige. So, be aware that Scizor is VERY weak to fire.

Of course, Scizor, just as Forrestress, Durant and Genesect (bug/steel) have only one weakness which is is x1.56 (classic games x4) to Fire.

You want Scizor because it has higher CP and only 1 weakness.

I agree. It will sit higher in gyms and force an attacker to use a slot on a fire type that can only be used of him (if you keep it away from exeggcutor, heracross, and venusaur).

I'm in the same boat. Probably going to get a Scizor first and do an Onix next. Unless I do two Scizors first.

I have a level 29 Scyther (87%) or a level 20 (96%) Scyther and not sure which to evolve first. Dust is at a premium right now as I want to power up another level 20 blissey. So many choices.
