Got my first Ex Raid invite...

Would be weird if I end up alone there for this one like with the Legendaries... 18th Feb in Bucharest.

Congrats, maybe you will find someone to raid with.

I expect at least 4 other people to be there since I keep seeing them around quite often, but I never struck up a conversation with them because I don't want to bother them and I tend to mind my own business.

Hopefully, you will discover that they are actually friendly, and that they would be interested in working together in the future.

And congratulations! A Mewtwo will bring you a lot closer to that Machamp solo goal.

Yeah, though I hope no anti-pokemon GO people come crashing the party. The haters tend to be really strong here...

Thanks. I don't know if I'll capture it or not, I don't even have much to counter it with at level 33. Got a double dark Wonder Houndoom but highest stat is HP (needs to be maxed out), a Wonder double dark Shiftry with max attack (needs to be maxed out), a Wonder Dragonite with DT/Hu (maxed and 15,14,14, might need a CTM but not sure if I want to risk it with HB being worse than Hu), a Wonder Banette with SC/SB nearly maxed.

On the list of stuff I cannot level up yet unless a Magikarp nest happens to pop up soon... a Wonder Gyarados with double dark, a Scizor with FC/NS (not enough candy to max out, needs CTM), a Gengar that has H/Sludge Bomb (needs a CTM), a lvl 20 Tyranitar that needs both a FTM and CTM and it's not even high enough in IVs to be worth all that, a Wonder 15 attack Gardevoir with Charge Beam / Shadowball.

But whatever happens, at least I'll help out with taking it down with what i'll max out. Hoping for good nests like Houndours, Seedots and Magikarps.

That's what I like about this game, one of its redeeming qualities: It pushes you to interact with strangers, like people used to do all the time.

You may just have to be forward and ask them. The worst they can say is no, and it may make the difference of you getting a Mewtwo or not.

It's not the raiders I'm afraid of. It's those jerks who threaten to break the phones of those who play this game. Also the thieves and such.

People around my area in the past didn't interact with strangers except maybe to ask for the time. They still considered you crazy if you butted in to talk to them while they're doing something such as reading on a bench or even just walking by. It's been like that ever since I was a kid (I'm 27 now).

Awesome! My very first Mewtwo raid is tomorrow, and I also got a second EX Pass today for next Saturday, as well. I think you'll be fine, it's hard to imagine people wouldn't show up for a Mewtwo raid unless they legit couldn't make it. Hopefully, it goes well for the both of us! :)

Congrats! Well, I'll do my best and hope I will be of some support. I don't really have the best attackers but I'll try to max out anything that could be useful if I have the candy. Good thing there was a Houndour nest nearby for a while.

I have only a handful of Dark-type attackers (including one Ttar with a sad 11 ATK lol), and just one of each type, so it could be challenging in that aspect. Fortunately, the players who have posted that they were able to 3-man Mewtwo have given me a bit of hope, in case not a lot of players show up.
