Sadly the Lapras you caught may not be that useful.
In attacking, using it to take down another Lapras is really specific and even then there are better alternatives like electric/rock type moves. Fire isn't super effective against Lapras as it's Water/Ice type.
In defending, if it's being challenged by an electric type; ice type moves would be more effective due to STAB bonus since neither have a type advantage on electric.
On the bright side, it does have high HP.
