The good, the bad and the ugly

I feel like this even is a double edged sword.

On one hand I'm very grateful for all of the rare fire and more importantly ice mons. I've doubled my ice medal count and will likely get gold. And on another hand the massive experience boost is accumulating get quickly.

My only problem is greed. If I want to go on an all out catching spree (preferably with a lucky egg) to make the most of it is have to pick and choose. Just about every event mon over 100 CP or costing me several balls - with curves and berries. Because of this I haven't dented my 60 pinap pile that I managed to save up.

Complaining aside this event is great! 1 Lapras, 2 Magmar, 10 Sneasle;2 wonders. Even without the pinaps, well over 100 candies of each fire mon excluding SLUGMA. I hatched one but I've yet to see another in the wild!

I got lucky and got Ember/Overheat on my first and only Typhlosion, but I never use it. Ember sucks,and I can't help but think his move options will improve in the next nerf. So I'll stock up on candy, but hold off on evolving.

Caught my first wild Lapras this morning. Double ice FB/B but 648cp. Oh well, was excited to see it in the sightings and finally nab one in the wild. Was tempted to Pinap, but I figured wouldn't get greedy and I can use her to walk later and keep the other Lapri for attacking and possibly defender after rework.
Caught a high CP Shadow Claw/Fire Blast Typhlosion in the wild. B-rated attacker on this site. Can't complain.

Caught ember/fb typho today. i hope i can use it for prestige. 1470 CP
