Is rock throw better than mudslap on golem now?
I have a bunch of good IV rock throw golems which I would like to power up to lvl 30.

Rock Throw's DPS skyrocketed with the move update. It used to be really slow and now it's pretty damn fast, with the damage having not changed at all. I've been using Rock Throw / Stone Edge Golems all the time to hit on Dragonite, Gyarados and the like (for fun, but Golem's offensive damage is ridiculously high now, too)
For defending, Mud Slap is still better. Not that Golem can actually defend anything very well (my Ancient Power one still has a battle won somehow)
Yep. Rock Throw/Stone Edge is pretty awesome for attacking now. If/When the legendary birds ever come out, it will be a really good moveset to slaughter Articuno (two weaknesses to rock offset slightly by Golem's weakness to ice) and especially Moltres (two weaknesses to rock plus Golem's two resistances to fire).
