Gold gym question.

You get more balls if your color controls it, well, unless you defeat a raid boss at a gym your color controls--no extra balls

Yeah, if your team doesn't control it you still get about 5-6 items. if your team does i think its like 8-10 and on 7 day streak with team control it's like 30 items.

Normally you get 2-3 items from the stop.
You get 3 extra items because of gold. (2 for silver, 1 for bronze)
Team control gives you another 2 items (when you're gold?)

I usually get 7 items from my home gold gym. My 7 day streak gives 28+.

The team bonus and badge bonus (bronze, silver, gold) are separate.

It varies a little for me. If another team controls I get 3-4 items. If my team, then around 8 items. If I'm in the gym then as many as 10

Gold is nice. But nothing more - you get an extra item every time you spin, whether you hold it or not. Some people think it might actually make it more likely to get a higher number of base items from a spin, but I don't think that's been proven.

Raids? F*cked if I know. I got the "Gym Control" bonus on a Valor gym once, and I'm Instinct. I've never gotten it for an Instinct gym, even when I was one of the trainers currently on the gym. So damned if I have any idea if Gold does anything for Raid Battles.
