Gengar is easy to solo...

Just build your teams a little bit stronger. My champ team has about 30 seconds left. No mewtwo or anything crazy. No maxed level 40s. Catch eevee in partly cloudy. Catch Abra in windy. Evolve them. Have a draognite or a Lugia as an anchor.

Same think with gengar, though you'll have to spend some dust on some good ttars.

I do think Niantic will fix it. I know it's really popular to dump on them because they haven't fixed everything already, but they have steadily improved the game this year. It's gotten better and better! At some point they'll revisit raid timing.

I had a huge butthurt yesterday raiding Gengar with SB. Got me wrecked 5 times, although I almost killed him, and after I rejoined he actually restored some hp. Well, I didn’t have T-tars back then, now I do. And Gengar without SB is pretty much fadder for my psychic anti-Macho team

If you were lucky enough to bag a Groudon, Gengar becomes almost trivial

Record time is finishing before reaching 90 seconds.

I still haven't been able to solo Machamp partially due to the timer and Android. But I also seem to only see weather-boosted, Dynamic Punch Machamp bosses. Last time I would have had it with ~4 extra seconds.
