Confusion is better in this matchup, if you're not dodging, you will struggle against Shadow Ball.

Leave it with confusion. In any case you'll beat all Gengar sets without any problem lol. I'm surprised the amount of Mewtwos you have. I barely got 3 maxed out. Good luck!

I believe with no dodging Confusion has a significant ttw over any psycho cut sets. Without any weather boost or friendship boost Mewtwo has a 352 second ttw at lvl 35 with Psychic as a charge move, it’s about 308 seconds with Shadow Ball. You should be fine and well with those teams

Psycho Cut has two main advantages: easier dodging and faster energy gain. Neither applies to your case, since you will not dodge and Gengar is weak to Psychic. Hence stick to Confusion.

You and ur buddy have the monster team to do it.
Dont think the boss charge move or ur quick move will matter

It's not his buddy, seems like it's a one-man-two-phones kinda deal, hence the no dodging.

One acc still can dodge doing one man two devices
One hand just tap on the charge move icon, while focusing on the other to do some dodging to prevent rejoining at the same time.

Stick with Confusion, you dont wanna dodge and Confusion is way more damaging than Psycho Cut.
Prepare 2nd battle parties with another good counter if you want to, you might be not need it, but just in case
