Gengar dilemma

Hi guys,

I don't know what to do with my 2 Gengars.

I have one with 96% IVs and H/SB at level 20 and another one with a legacy moveset SC/Sludge Bomb at level 24 (but only 67% IVs).

I would like to power up one of them until level 30 but still wondering if I should TM the second one to get SC/SB, or stick with the H/SB who has almost perfect IVs.

Any advices?

put them in pokebattler and see which one comes out ahead at the max you wish to invest.

looking at it shadow claw outperforms hex by a considerable margin at the same IV I doubt this is made up by the difference in IV's you have there.

If your goal is to use it vs Mewtwo then you'll likely want the 96% one because you will at worst need to power it up to level 33.5 to survive 3 confusions (but could be as low as 32).

However, depending on the IV distribution of the lower one it may never survive 3 confusions no matter how high you power it up.
