gen2 starters ultra ultra rare for anyone?

hello guys.

I'm in the Netherlands and I have seen only 1 gen2 starter in the wild. And that's Totodile. Is this just me or has anyone else have this?

What can I possible do to enhance my chances to encounter more gen2 starters?

Tnx!

I'm from The Netherlands too (Hengelo) and I've only seen and caught one of each.

Isn't that strange? I do encounter Squirtle and Bulbasaur frequently. I'm pretty sure I live in a water biome, because I see alot of water 'mons. But I also see alot of Magnemite and Voltorb.

Go further. Go farther. Go harder.

I'm trying man! I go to different towns and cities. Even within my town I explore different areas. We'll see. It took my months to encounter my first Dratini :)

Look at thesilphroad's nest map, starters have nests sometimes.

They are def not common but not rare. I just prefer not to catch them since they are ball eaters. I must say the're way more common than gen 1 starters though.

Definitely rare around here as well.

Found a wild Bayleef today. Also have 5/2/4 of the first evolutions of the starters. But I wish one could get them from an egg.

I am close to water biomes, and there is a totodile nest or frequent spawn point nearby, so totodiles are common for me. cyndaquils and chikoritas are less common here but definitely not rare, I have close to 200 candies for those 2 starters so far.

(East Coast US) Yeah, they're quite rare. Cyndaquil shows up in a few nests around here, and totodile (like squirtle) shows up in water biomes, though less often.

Never seen a chicorita. Then again, around here any starter other than squirtle is quite rare... Lvl 31, only have venusaur because of nests, and still no charizard, and been playing since the summer. (blastoise much easier to get for me, ofc)

Living in Rotterdam and the only gen2 starter I happen to encounter is chikorita now and then. Seen zero of the other two.

I'm from Russia.
In our city there have been nests of all starters, also there are some frequent spawn points. Right now there's Cyndaquil spawn point near my house.
But overall random spaws are pretty rare. Back then to Gen 1 we had many Sqirtles as I live in water biome.
Overall, I'd say they are rare and I have to go to the nests to find them

Oh man, the gen2 starters are super rare for me (Midwest USA). I've caught 3 Chikorita, 1 Totodile, and none of whatever the fire starter is. They seem even rarer than the gen1 starters (which themselves are pretty hard to find).

Not really rares here. And I'm living in a small town so...

Totodile is cummon enough and Chickorita and Cyandaquil well are not cummon but also not super rare.

Definetly Totodile is the most cummon one. And since water event I think at least during the event you should have found many.

My advice is to check pokestopes nearvy frequently to see if some is around. Also explore new areas all the time don't get stuck at same places. If you find one somewhere go back to that place and check it regularly since I found one chikorita in the forest came back today and there he was again today so it could spawn regularly. Try to find some place where they appear frequently. And of course use this berries that give you double the candies.

Good luck.

Chicorita is so common here I stoped catching it. The other two can be found in varying degrees with Todile being much more common than Cyndaquil.

It's biome based and I'm in a grass biome. My rarities seem to mirror the gen 1 type rarities.

My advice would be to look in the same places you found gen1 mons of the same type. As more Pokémon are added everything gets a bit more rare so gen 2 starters will be more rare than gen 1 starters were, gen 3 will be more hard to find than gen2 etc

Also in the Netherlands, by the coast.

Only seen 1 and caught 1 Chikorita.
Seen 8 and caught 8 Cyndaquil.
Seen 14 and caught 13 Totodile.

The Gen 1 starters took me a long time to complete and the Gen 2 starters look no different - Chikorita looks to be a particular problem for me.

I've seen more gen 2 starters already than I've seen of gen 1 starters.

I live in the Netherlands as well. Starters are extremely rare there. Currently I'm in Australia and caught loads of the starters. Only missing Typhlosion now. So you should consider traveling to Australia for them haha

I'm in Rio, Brazil, and Totodile and Chikorita are quite common. Already evolved 3 Feraligatr and 2 Meganiuns (close to the 3rd with 100+ candies) and found both in the wild.
Cyndaquil is another story, they are pretty rare, only found 9 and 1 Quilava. Never seen a Typhlosion even on gyms.

Nests. Here in southern Maine, I see occasional random spawns of all three Gen2 starters, but have been able to get enough quality and quantity for evolutions only when I find a nest.
