Gen 3 coming?

I read that gen 3 was found in the code. When can we expect the launch? I don't think it will be before the beasts are done. And then there is ho-oh still missing (i expect him to be nerfed). The game is a little boring for the moment. I do a lot of legendary raids but havn't gotten an invite for Mewto yet. Raikou is three weeks away here in Europe and the only thing I want is a 96% plus IV Tyranitar to add to my army (have 2 already at 89% powered up each), but that's not going to happen. Not lucky with IVs...what are your remaining goals for gen2?

I could care less about gen 3. I'm excited for basketball season. The only thing that will stop me from watching a football/basketball game is a mewtwo ex pass.

Same here. Hopefully this NBA season will be a good one for my Pistons ?

Pistons should make the playoffs this year. Loved the addition of Bradley and subtractions of Morris and Pope. I expect a breakout year from Boban!

I just had a gym battle at local lighted walking park (4 gyms 800 m loop), flipflopped Blissey/Snorlax for an hour. 3399 PC/FB let me actually walk the loop while doing go plus. The other guy picked the two gyms closest to the parking lot and just walked back and forth. The big ones weren't slowing me so he started putting in 3150 HB Dragonite, well that was down in 45 seconds total. Some back in the day R vs B. He had a gold there in the first week, but helping me get there now though

Absolutely not. That is horrible about 4/5 months?! There's virtually nothing to catch, and despite typically going a single legendary every day, that isn't enough. Need to add new Pokemon ASAP.

I believed that gen3 would come after Christmas. Gen3 means new moves added and legendaries might also get some of the new moves. I don't believe that they will give any new moves until everyone had a chance to catch legendary beasts as they were originally released. With the alternation of the beasts, Halloween and end year events, plus mewtwo we have plenty of reasons to stay engaged to the game. So, I bet that Niantic don't add new content until next year.

I think Gen 3 will be introduced during the Halloween event. Or at least a part of it ( all ghost and dark types for example).

Agreed, with a full release in november.

The original Silph Road news, linked in the Latest Update section of this site, states that "Gen III sound files for Pokemon 'cries' have not been added to the APK just yet, so Gen III isn't launching tomorrow". So, no, not this year.

not tomorrow is a different thing than not in the next 12 weeks.

My goals are to solo the remaining Alakazam movesets (I've only succeeded vs the FS ones). I am positive i can take PC/FB, and C/SB will be the hardest since my team is Gengar heavy right now.
