Gen 2: Rank your Top 5 Game Changers

What Pokémon do you think will change the Game from a Competitive Standpoint. List/Explain your Top 5 for fun.

1) Ampharos: A strong electric will change the game
2) Lanturn: Not as strong as #1, but better typing. This will be the first true Lapras Counter
3) Kingdra: Dragon/Water.
4) Tyrantir: Only because its CP will be so high it will take spots in gyms. It's typing those will be a disaster.
5) I'll go with Urasring. This spot is a crap shoot I'm just thinking what I used to use in base game back then.

btw, hardly see gyms with 4+ pokemons, its not competitive at all

Tyranitar with (maybe) bite + stone edge could be a nice counter to lapras as well.

Good thinking with lanturn.

Although I'm really excited about:

Tyranitar (my favorite pokemon of all times since the TCG back in the day),

Octillery (MASSIVE attack stat),

Donphan (always loved his design),

Azumarill (could be a new wigglytuff, but most likely niantic will mess the hell out of it's moves)

And Shuckle, because... How could you not love this lil fella?

I see Tyranitar depleting Lapras and Snorlax a lot too...they might even lose half tier when Ty gets popular.
Too much uncertainty. But for sure gyms will be even more vulnerable and fragile than now.

Unless Niantic changes the prestiging system for friendly gyms, no pokemon is gonna change anything. It is so easy to take gyms down nowadays and so hard to build them up. Most people I know go on a gym run, tear down / fill up 3-4 and then collect. Rinse and repeat... Long gone are the days of holding gyms for weeks.

New pokemons will just make it more fun to catch / hatch something different.

Unless, of course, the Lapras event in Japan causes some gyms to be full of Lapras...
