Gardevoir counters

Gardevoir isn't very bulky, but she really hits like a truck, even against neutral attackers.

Mewtwo with PC/SB obviously. But that's why I have a C/SB Gardevoir defender to troll Mewtwo users, besides my C/DG one. C/SB will also hit Metagross hard.

Snorlax with Lick/Heavy Slam might be a good tank counter.

Steel Scizor or Muk

I personally love to use double-steel Scizors against Gardevoir; it resists Psychic- and Fairy-type moves, and you can see Shadow Ball coming from a mile away. Not to mention the fact that Scizor is cool, and has a very decent Atk stat.

Scizor is looking like the best option and resists Psychic and Fairy to boot

Just unfortunate I can't use my bug/bug Scizor that I already have powered up for this purpose.

Metagross!

Aggron, Scizor and Metagross. Gengar too but it has to watch out for anything but dazzling gleam.

Gengar is viable but it gets seriously shredded by Confusion. Dodging only specials Gengar finishes barely with its life, 1 Confusion away from death, and dodging all perfectly it has 40% hp left.

No general answer against Gardevoir - it's a really nice pokemon in defense, especially if you put it between Blissey and Snorlax. That said, when I see one in gyms, I use my otherwise useless IT/SE Tyranitar with pretty good results, as it's tanky enough to swallow DG and laughs at tickling SB.

Raikou is a great choice- Gardevoir has no bulk so even neutral damage takes it down fast. Fire types for the DG resist. The water types like vaporeon, gyarados and kyogre will also eat all Gardevoir attacks for breakfast and take it down easily. 2x SE charge beam doesn't matter since its still worse than stab confusion.

Yeah, pretty much aything neutral will be good enough. Still the main use is forcing a switch out from Machamp.
I assume it will have Dazzling Gleam and use Moltres with Overheat against full motivation, or Flareon with Flamethrower against low motivation. When I eventually evolve my Aggron, I might start using that.

Gardevoir has no bulk but she hits neutral attackers like a truck.

I've been using my Fire Fang/Wild Charge Arcanine because it resists Dazzling Gleam and hits hard for neutral damage, especially since Fire Fang is almost always weather boosted where I live.
