Gamepress rating are pure stupidness
I've often looked at the gamepress ratings to see how useful a mon is. But lately these have become so unreliable that it's not possible anymore. A quick example is Exploud, rated 1/5. The reason: lackluster stats and no stab moves. "It has nothing going for it" not even double immunity vs ghost while being able to learn bite-crunch wich is SE.
Meanwhile a mon like Sableye gets 3/5. Yes SABLEYE. It has horrendous stats and worthless moves. Sableye is neither good at defense or offense. Those times where a dark moveset is needed even exploud would outperform it. The rating explenation for sableye talk about how good it is in the main games instead of how useless it is in PoGO.

I'm pretty sure that Omastar had Water Gun listed because people were complaining that we were recommending only legacy Omastar and very few players had it.
So when we listened and put up Water Gun Omastar, someone complains about it. This is an endless cycle that we have to deal with. I hope you understand.
Regardless, Water Gun has been removed as a good move for Omastar as a Lugia counter.
Only legacy omastar is viable against Lugia. If people complain they should just right that non-legacy Omastar is not good enough. Not put it in as a good counter.
Souding bitter, not my intention but there are still flaws in the current recommended pokemons against Lugia. For example they recommend Golem with RT/AP but do not even mention DT/O dragonite.
Despite what I can see dragonite surving longer AND having a higher DPS rate.

1 for Blastoise compared to 2.5 for Feraligatr? 3 for Milotic compared to 4 for Vaporeon? Slaking is 2.5 but Wailord, Snorlax, Militank and the Slowdudes have no rating.
Another (minor) issue: The Gym Defenders Tier List has seven species in Tier 4, but the infographic only shows six species; Metagross is missing.

The ratings aren't stupid; they are the educated opinion of one person or a few people who are fairly knowledgeable about the game. They are a pretty good general guide, but there is no substitute for doing your own research and drawing your own conclusions based on your personal priorities and playing style.
