The game really laggy for everyone right now?

If I'm asking this, I hope the answer is yes...the game is brutally laggy right now...almost unplayable...the GPS isn't working for crap. It is 90 degrees and sunny out...Is there server struggling? I don't remember it being like this for past events...

My biggest grip tho...no fun hat?!

Well hundreds of thousands of bots and fake accounts just fired up. Seems this happens to me to some extent every event.

Just prestiged a gym, actually it is abnormally clean fast!

It s always laggy for me, abnormally...normal people would not play in this condition...at least would not fight gyms

My game is functioning as normal (with lag from time to time as usual). Took down a level 10 gym without severe penalty from lag.

Not sure what 90 degrees is but if you play for prolonged periods out in the sun your device may overheat and induce thermal throttling in your CPU that slows your device down. Could be that also.
