GamePress

Game lagging and freezing

The past few days my game has been running very so. It makes it difficult to through balls because the spin lags. Takes forever to click on a mon in the wild, then they all disappear for a minute or so while the processing wheel spins. Then when I catch them the game either freezes after the last ball shake or I can’t exit the mon’s Info screen. My guy also lags severely while moving around. Today seems a little better.

Last night I even stayed at a gym for almost 10 minutes even tho I had come home which is about a half mile away. The only good think was that I could still spin the gym twice more.

I reset my phone and reloaded the app but it still has these bad lagging times. Is it that the game is just taking up too much processing?

What kind of phone do you use? My father uses a 4 year old Samsung Galaxy S5 and he's currently experiencing sudden force stopping of the app, lagging, freezing, etc... He tells me that this happens after every update but usually gets better within a day or two. I don't really believe him, but I cleaned his phone as much as I can removing useless apps and data but it's still not working smoothly. Afterall this, I think it could be that the processor is too weak to handle PoGo, but I'm iffy because a Galaxy S5 still should work fairly well.

So maybe try deleting any unused apps, data, and useless files to free up space and help your phone run smoother? That that fails maybe just wait a day or two like my dad and see if it gets better.

I have an iPhone 6. I don’t have many apps but I deleted those I don’t use. I also turned off almost all others apps so they don’t use cellular. It might be a tad better but still way worse than a week ago
