FYI Zapptos can be beaten with only 5 trainers.

We almost did not go because we did not think 5 was enough. Team= level 38, 37, 34, 34, 33. Everyone had at least a 4 decent golems and everyone got right back in for round two. we probably had about 2 sec left. It was awesome.

FYI, they did that with three in Japan and three is smaller than five.

Not trying to be a one upper but we did it with four twice in the last 4 days. Today it did take two tries though (one player was more borderline.

Was great fun.

Congrats, I really hate those jokers who say you need 8 people to take it down, they dilute the ball bonus.

Not everyone is lucky to go with 5 mid 30 players. Adding some lower level players really lowers DPS and may require 8.

yep if i am doing it with people I am unfamiliar with (or familiar with and know they are under equipped) I do my numbers as 6 minimum if I am very familiar I am ok with 4 or 5.

But congratulations to Op it is always nice when you achieve something new.

It also depends on how glitchy the game is. We had 4 at a TTar raid this morning and timed out the first time because two guys got dropped. Second time with same 4 we finished with 30 seconds left.

I personally usually like to err on the side of caution, especially when dealing with lower level players. You don't know if they are level 28 cuz they raid 5+ times a day, or if they raid once a day and grind. The performance between the two is staggering.

We did zapdos with 4 players to.
At Lvl 40, 39, and two times 37 we managed to down him with 39 sec left.
It took 16 Golems, 7 Ttars and a Dragon.

the day before yesterday we failed our first attempt as a trio (40,40,39) by about 4%. saturday afternoon we'll try again.
