I sent out an Alolan Raticate today against a Giratina. Raticate survived with the bulk of its health despite Giratina having unleashed a shadow sneak.

Is Giratina + shadow sneak that bad or is Alolan Raticate just too good?

Answers

It triple resist ghost + giratina low attack. Even Gengar can tank a Shadow Sneak, and he is weak to it.

I forgot about triple resist.

Gonna power up some alohan Raticates then. Should i power up my 15-10-10 one or my 14-15-15?

Neither, alolan raticate is actually a terrible pokemon. It may have glood survivability in this case, but that aside its downright awful.

Your Raticate is clearly OP. Dragonite? More like Dragon-nope. Rayquaza? Try Nay-quaza. Salamance? Uhhhh.... no..... (Someone help me out here!). Just bring your maxed out team of Alolan Raticate and you're in business!

Well Alolan Raticate is comparable to Tyranitar, just a slightly worse alternative. I mean, think about it, they have the same optimal dark moveset, they both are double weak to fighting, they both have 2 legs 2 arms and a tail... it can't be a coincidence
