Frenzy Plant glitch?

My friends showed me their newly evolved Venusaurs, and the weird thing is some of them have one bar FP with 180 damage whilst others have the same FP but two bars with only 100 damage.

Answers

It was bugged for a while.
Apparently the 1 bar version has the same stats as Solar Beam, so that may lead us to the cause of the bug.
Anyway, minor correction: Damage, not DPS

Saw someone posted a Flying-type Frenzy Plant with 10 damage in the Singapore PoGo Facebook Group.

My first evolution had flying-type FP as well but changed back to grass-type afterwards.
