Frenzy Plant

The much anticipated move for Venusaur has finally been confirmed. Frenzy Plant has good stats and I really like this move. However, I hate this animation. Frenzy Plant should have got a better animation. Like, Venusaur stomps in the ground and Blackish thorny plants hit the opponent much like a Stone Edge. The current animarion for Frenzy Plant which shows Blastoise's legs get hit by roots is totally terrible.

Charge move animations only work about 20% of the time anyway so it's not like you'll be seeing it that often...

The animation you're talking about is from the anime. But unfortunately, Niantic decided to use the one from the main games which is not good at all. I totally agree, getting hit in the legs by roots is not a good animation for the grass starter exclusive move.

Oh, and you've missed an information. Venusaur glows green before stomping at the ground.

Good animation generally results in longer animation time. So i don't care that much about the animation, as long as it has less cooldown time.

I agree, it looks comically weak. A green, thorny version of stone edge would have been nice
