Focus Blast Alakazam

I tried using gengar focus blast into snorlax/blissey and it worked quite well. I'd imagine alk will do even better with the psychic resist.

Against other types you want future sight but for the purpose of snorlax and blissey I think focus blast even outperforms future sight.

I have both decently high (27 and 29 I think) level Alakazams with Psycho Cut/Focus Blast and Confusion/Focus Blast...(No Future Sight though).

I like Psycho Cut better since he's still a glass cannon and it's easier to dodge with it...Focus Blast hits harder into Snorlax and Blissey than Future Sight and Alakazam has a higher defense stat vs. Gengar...as well as taking NVE damage attacking Zen Blisseys/Snorlax.

If you get the dodge bug a lot, it'll be hard to win some Blissey fights, but if you dodge all and no dodge bug, you can easily handle both assuming you have a high level one...Dodging Zen only causes 1 damage against Blissey...and Psycho Cut generates energy 40% faster than Confusion or so.

I use him all the time (Psycho Cut/Focus Blast one).

He hits like a truck into Bissey and Snorlax.

Much faster than a Ursaring in taking down Blissey and Snorlax, when comparing a non fighting type that uses fighting moves.

One of my favorite attackers. He's a glass cannon and I've taken out high level blissey without dying plenty of times. Jus gotta dodge.

It is pretty good against Blissey and Snorlax. But you need to know how to dodge and how to play against AI. There are some strategies there that would go beyond just moveset alone.
