Is flygobn with stone edge any good in the great league or should i tm it?

I have a MS/DC+SE for the ultra league and it's a beast. DC is the move you want on Flygon for PvP, SE has a niche cover vs ice and flying types.

All of Flygon's moves are useful. IMO Dragon Claw is the least useful of the three, but still useful. If you have the candy and the dust, buy it a second move.

And where's the love for MS/EQ? That moveset is deadly. Unlike in raids and gyms, Earthquake is very powerful in PvP, and there's a lot of stuff that it destroys. Love my ultra league Flygon, and working on a great league one.

DC is really good for baiting shields. You gather energy until you could do your bigger charge move as well and then the opponent needs to guess whether it's worth shielding or not. If they guess wrong they waste a shield on DC or get wrecked by EQ/SE.

Stone Edge has pretty nice coverage and may surprise people. I had someone use a Moltres in great league against Flygon and they didn't shield, expecting a Dragon Claw. The Moltres got OHKO'd from 90% HP.

That said, Earthquake is also excellent and packs good coverage. Ground is fairly narrowly resisted and super effective against a lot of targets.
