In the 2500 league, is it feasible? I did one battle on the subway last night, and randomly chose as a team a mewtwo, a 100% flygon i had powered up to 2400 or so, and I forgot what else. The mewtwo (with SB) lost to whatever his first pokemon was, but the flygon (DT/DC) ended up sweeping out the rest of his team with over half strength remaining.

You can power a 100% Flygon up to 2490 CP and level 35.5 BTW and I suppose it can learn Earthquake as a second move .

Flygon has been great for me too.

Part of its success was that whoever I was playing kept using rock moves against me (possibly thinking it was a flying type)

It seems feasible in the 1500 league too. I have one just shy of that mark which I am currently using with double ground moves as that was what it came with naturally. Not changing anything until the dust settles.

I'm considering teaching it Stone Edge as its second charge move. Its remaining moves as either Dragon Tail/Earthquake, or Mud Shot/Dragon Claw. All that combined should give it a large amount of coverage.

I have one too, at CP 1495, which is what it came out to when I evolved a L20 hatched CP 711 Trapinch. Flygon moveset is MS/DC.

I used it to train in the Great League against Spark, and none of his pokemon ever even got a charge move off. But, obviously, Flygon is an electric specialist.

Ive been using a double ground Flygon, CP 2429, to take out electrics (Shinx, Magnemite/Magneton, etc.) in raids. Loving the triple resistance to electric. Seems quite viable - maybe all those damn Trapinch we've hatched can finally be useful.
