Flee rates have been changed since Dittos were released?

Hi all,

I feel that since yesterday the flee rates of Pidgeys/Rattatas/Magikarps have been raised up. Sometimes they broke the ball and ran away just after one throw.

Do you have the same observations?

Sure as hell seems that way. Lots of other ppl saying the same thing on reddit.

I had 4 Pokemon in a row run from me this morning for the first time ever. Took a screenshot b/c I figured I was getting speed checked or it was some kind of bug. 3 of them were 'Great!' and I always curve. None were high level or rare Pokemon. Just the usual Psyduck/Tentacool/etc. water junk

Just caught a Ditto from a 235CP Pidgey. He broke 3 great balls and 3 ultra balls in a row. Before this update I rarely use ultra balls for Pidgeys...

Pidgey and Rattata are 20% flee rate
Magikarp is 15%.
Its been that way since 0.47.1 no downloadable update since then

Could be that people just notice the fleeing more because they are hoping for a ditto. Normally you wouldn't think twice about a fleeing pidgey or rattata.

May be flee rates of Pidgey/Rattata... are unchanged, what we don't know now is the flee rate of Ditto that affects the flee rates of those they transform to.

Rats have always fled a lot. Before this last update I stopped trying to catch them as it just wasted pokeballs.

Now I'm back to catching rats due to Ditto.... zzz.... flee
