First Larvitar in the wild

So, it's been 6 weeks since Gen 2 release. Just a few minutes ago while out for lunch, I found my first Larvitar in the wild.
669 CP, and I'm ready for it.
I switch to Ultra Ball.
I feed it a raspberry.
I hold my finger on the ball and give it a swirl.
I watch and time the throw.
Curveball.
Excellent throw.
Catch....... bounce.
First twirl...... Second twirl...
It breaks free and escapes!!!!

That's how my day has gone!

Sucks, I know the feeling. Sorry it happened man. I've only seen 3 in the wild.

I haven't seen 1. I have a couple and I hatched them. I almost have enough to evolve one. Of course every gym in the area has 2 or 3 at the 3000 level. Who knows where the other players are finding them.
