Finally fought a Blissey

Solar Beam on a big Exeggutor was the only thing I brought that seemed to put a dent in her. What are people using against this tank?

I use my Rhydon 3000 CP with Rock Smash and Earthquake. However, if it's above 2700 CP, I time out. Looking for a strong Heracross at the moment.

Is Heracross a region exclusive to Latin America? If so that sucks for the rest of the world. Such a useful Pokémon like Khan being so exclusive.

It appears to be Latin America exclusive. They are quite rare. I only found three so far.

Machamp should be a good alternative. Quite the same stats, move sets and weakness as far as I know. They only require more candy.

Heracross in southern Florida! Still only missing Tauros from Gen 1 so happy to have seen and caught 2 of these!!

If it's above 2700 CP, I only dodge charge moves. If my phone doesn't register my swipe as a dodge, Dragonite is pretty much a goner especially if Blissey has DG. Exeggutor finishes the job faster than any of my remaining Pokémon. Only 4 of the 8 best Pokémon I have are available since the rest haven't been defeated for quite a while now.

Dragonite and Exeggutor vs 2800+ Blisseys. Anything below it I use Arcanine, Gyarados, and other attackers. Idk how you prestige against one by yourself though.

I prestige for 500 only. I start with my nee matcap, small, lvl 21, hit hard with Counter/close combat, run or die, whatever and than finish with vathwver Vap bigger than 2800 CP. My Dragonite is bigger than Blissey, works for defearing blue ones :)

I think that Tyrantiar may work, but I don't have one.

Though DG is a pain for it.

Quickest way to kill Blissey (to avoid time out) is a Counter + Dynamic Punch/Close Combat Machamp. But need more than one (High chance that Blissey has Psychic/Fairy moves).

Marchamp is enough for start, to gain seceral secs and than pick up with a huge vap or rhydon. I prefer vap since I lack a MS rhydon.

One trick I ended up using was charging my charge move during the fight before Blissey so I could use it immediately on her. I think this could be the difference between beating her and timing out in some instances.

How big of a blissey can an Eggecutor take down? And how big does the Eggecutor need to be. I have a 2200 confusion/Solar Beam Egg that is 89%IV. Wondering how high I might need to power him up to be my Blissey killer.

Was hoping to use my dust on a second Blissey but might need to power up some attackers here

I think my battle was a 2400s Exeggutor against a 2600s Blissey. I can't imagine a 3000+ Blissey.

One bar charge moves + no dodge for quick charging.

I think Psychic has become really nerfed. 1-bar 100 pwr is nothing considering there are 2-bar moves with same power. The new meta is all about EPS and power per bar.

Yeah, they should really change Psychic to 2 bars...
It was 2 before prior to gen2 update.
